As the midnight chimes Through these grieving times Shackled down staying on the ground When we can’t give in No, we must never give into All the diatribe and the innuendo For the world outside Should be our guide Although it’s physical There’s something spiritual, going on
Follow all the signs Stay within the lines You can again do, all you set out to Among your old friends and the family too In the open air or with a silent prayer Join in the thanksgiving Setting out again On the lifestyle you are restoring And welcome in the morning Out with Nature and exploring Celebrating the new found freedom Now the grieving times are all over Thankful then to be born again As a new beginning is now dawning
Waking up again Living our life again Discovering, re-finding the fun Appreciating, the world we’re living in Tip toeing, not disturbing anything But then we’re skipping And now we’re all dancing To find we are soaring Looking down over everything While we are wondering Yes wondering, how did it all begin
And was it on whose will The whole world stood still And what the suffering And the grieving Were all for.
