What’s happening Mr. Zuckerberg
What’s happening to my page
My colleagues say it’s dying
And 'X' is now the rage
What’s happening Mr. Zuck
Perhaps because I’m elderly
Old friends have left the stage
But new requests now bother me
They’re so easy now to gauge
Single Ladies in prime of life
With bosoms proudly cleft
Who tell me they are single now
Or sadly left bereft
They all seem eager
To have an online chat
They also like to call me, Dear!
So, there’s nothing wrong with that
What’s Happening Mr. Zuck
They have a morbid interest
In what I like to eat
But once that’s been established
Start turning up the heat
Many of us have welcomed in
Someone, a known true friend
To find some vipers cloned his page
And again, it’s all pretend
What’s happening
What’s happening Mr. Zuck
What’s happening Mr. Zuckerberg
We know you’ve got the tools
To eliminate the scammers
Who treat us all like fools
What’s happening Mr. Zuckerberg
On the dark side of the web
So many innocent souls lost
Within that vast cobweb
What’s happening Mr Zuck
It’s mostly for the young folk
That I silently despair
You must have seen the heartache
That’s going on out there
There has always been a ‘Bully’
Out in the old schoolyard
But now with social media
He lurks behind your cloud
Make it happen, Mr Zuckerberg
Put your algorithms to the test
Make cyber world a safer place
So their souls may find some rest
So their souls may find some rest
Their souls may find some rest.
