(Instrumental intro)
Right there from the beginning
My life was so mundane
A routine, dull routine, always the same
I remember well that sunny day
She came along my way
Along with the buds of May
Shaking off those days of grey
And here she came to stay
Brightening up my day
Here my life truly began
Born again
Feels like I’d been born again
The World a brighter place
Full of Joy and grace
Every morning I would wake
To greet her smiling face
A sunny embrace
Still in a dream
Or so it would seem
She was my Fairy Queen
She was a Fairy Queen
Like you’ve never seen
(instrumental pause)
I never thought to pause and pray
It would always stay that way
Right through the Fall
So happily, we would play
I had it all
And took it so for granted
‘You never should’, they say
With the changing seasons
Winter winds would stay
Bitter winds that blew
And blew and blew and blew
And blew all the day
They swept my Joy away
Silently left and quietly slipped astray
And so there I found myself
Back to the beginning
But it seemed more like
Just like the end.
