Astral Traveller

We live on a small Planet
And marvel at our shiny Sun             
That nurtures all around us                
Not comprehending how it’s done

There is so much still remaining
That the Earth is to reveal               
So, when you turn to the Heavens
On a cloudless night
Gaze in wonder                                             
Overawed by the sight
 
Billions of stars                         
All shining so bright
The Universe, endless                   
Far out into the night

My Soul shall venture out there   
After my days on Earth are done
An ethereal astral traveller                                     
Joined with the Power of One
With all who have gone before me       
Travelling out there in unison
To where it all begun

Drifting towards some distant Sun
